Darrin Peppard — WordPress Website Design & Development
Project dashboard · Prepared by Sherwin Martin / ArtXtreme
Dr. Darrin Peppard is a keynote speaker, best-selling author, and leadership consultant with nearly three decades of experience helping leaders rise above the noise, reclaim their purpose, and build high-performing, aligned teams. He is the author of Road to Awesome and a recognised voice in school leadership, organisational culture, and professional development — known for working with principals, superintendents, district leaders, and executives who are navigating leadership burnout, communication breakdowns, and the kind of strategic misalignment that erodes teams from the inside. His work blends storytelling, practical frameworks, and human-centred thinking that moves audiences from passive listening to purposeful action. At the core of his philosophy: leadership is a human endeavour rooted in connection, compassion, and purpose — and when it is lived that way, people rise and teams thrive.
The website project began with a clear brief: build Darrin a professional home base that earns trust the moment someone lands on it. His previous online presence did not reflect the depth of his experience or the credibility of his platform, and with an active speaking schedule and a growing coaching practice, the gap between his real-world reputation and his digital presence was costing him. The goal was not to over-engineer a complex site — it was to build something clean, fast, and conversion-focused that could hold its own in front of a superintendent doing due diligence before booking a keynote.
The five-page WordPress build — Home, About, Books, Testimonials, and Contact — is structured around a single priority: getting the right person to take the next step. The “Book a Call” button appears where it needs to, not as an afterthought. The contact form is wired directly to Darrin’s email. The Books page showcases Road to Awesome and his other titles with enough context to drive sales. The Testimonials page does what testimonials should do: it answers the question a prospective client hasn’t asked yet, with real endorsements from real leaders who have been in the room with him.
The site is mobile-optimised, SEO-ready, and built with basic brand consistency — typography, colours, and visual tone drawn from his existing brand assets — so everything that comes after the launch, from social media to speaking one-sheets, pulls from the same source. One month of post-launch bug support was included to make sure the handoff was clean and the site performed exactly as intended from day one.
